Flood control probe body to be established ‘very soon’—Marcos

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced on Tuesday, September 2, that the formation of an independent commission to probe the country’s flood control projects will be finalized “very, very soon.” In an ambush interview in Zambales, Marcos was asked to confirm whether Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong had been appointed as a member of the commission. “I don’t want to talk about it until it’s complete. We haven’t finalized the plan yet… but it’s coming soon, very, very soon,” he told reporters.
