“Magaling ka sa acads ah, siguro matalino ka rin sa pag-ibig?”
Well, no. Those two don't come hand in hand. Maybe, they're inversely proportional when it comes to me.
If I had three wishes, two of them would be dedicated to you, and one would be wishing that I was wise in love.
I would wish that even for just one day—even if it were a dream that came true—we were together. I'd wish that we would reach the stars, where I'd see your ever-so-glowing eyes, but alas, I was never made here on this Earth to be destined to be with you. But, God damn it—I don't want that to happen. But that all contradicts my last wish—that I wish I was wiser: that I don't want to beg for you to take me back, even if you don't want me. That I would never come back to you even after a decade, when we'd long have our different lives—lives that are so far away that they'll never converge again.
Even after a decade, the song Tala still reminds me of my sentiments toward you. That I'll move the world and loop time all over again—for seven times—just so I can see you again. I know you'll never read this article, but, in the smallest case you do, can we talk for one last time?
I still have that notebook in Basic Calculus that I wrote so confidently in just because you taught me in that subject. I still have those piles of documents I printed so I could talk to you. I still have those 11:11s spent on you, for the tiniest chance that we could be together.
Please, just one more chance. I beg.
I'll write you a thousand letters addressed to you. I'll sing a thousand hymns for you. I'll create a thousand posters bearing your favorite anime series. I'll check up on you and comfort you every day. Just please, come back. I'll give the entire cosmos to you, but please… don't push me away again.
For what are my achievements, my intelligence, and my personality for, if I cannot have you?
